Lühitutvustus

At SmartSmallHouse, we’re building more than homes — we’re building a new way to live.

We believe that healthy living starts with healthy spaces. That’s why our modular wooden homes are designed not just to be energy-efficient and eco-friendly, but also to support well-being on every level.

People today want more than just four walls — they want homes that feel good, function smart, and live lightly on the planet. We meet that need by blending timeless Vastu principles with modern Swiss design. The result? Homes that are beautiful, breathable, and full of positive energy.

GreenVillage Fiesch — Our Flagship Project

GreenVillage Fiesch is where our vision comes to life — a small, smart village designed for modern, sustainable living.

Here’s what we’re planning:

  • Five single-family homes, each with a private terrace and green space

  • Four apartment buildings with 12 units in total

  • Set on a 5,020 m² plot in the heart of Valais — a region known for its stunning landscapes and rich ecological diversity.

  • Thoughtfully developed with a low building density (we’re using less than the allowed volume to keep things open and light)

We’re using our ModularGreen system — smart, prefab wooden architecture designed and built in Switzerland, ideally with local partners from the Fiesch region.

This isn’t just a prototype — it’s a real-world model for how sustainable housing can look and feel in Switzerland. The homes are designed for locals, newcomers, and families — with a mix of full-time residents and holiday homes that can also be rented out. The goal: year-round life, not just seasonal use.

We’re creating homes that are smart, grounded, and future-ready. And this is just the beginning.

Probleem ja lahendus

The Problem We Solve

Switzerland faces a critical housing challenge: traditional construction methods are environmentally damaging, energy-inefficient, and fail to meet modern sustainability standards. And many new homes ignore the emotional and energetic impact of space.

Current housing options are:

  • Environmentally costly with high carbon footprints
  • Energy-intensive during both construction and occupation
  • Inflexible to changing housing needs
  • Typically disconnected from holistic well-being principles
  • Often unaffordable while still compromising on quality or sustainability

Our Solution

SmartSmallHouse AG delivers a transformative approach through:

Innovative Modular Wooden Architecture

  • Dramatically reduced environmental impact using sustainable materials
  • Significantly lower carbon footprint than conventional construction
  • deconstructable design, for a sustainable circular economy

Holistic Design Philosophy

  • Vastu-integrated principles that enhance well-being and harmony
  • Energy-efficient systems that reduce ongoing costs and environmental impact
  • High-quality construction that doesn't compromise sustainability for luxury

Accessible Sustainability

  • Making eco-friendly housing attainable without premium pricing
  • Creating communities rather than just buildings
  • Proving that sustainability and practicality can coexist

GreenVillage Fiesch will demonstrate that Switzerland can address its housing challenges while advancing environmental goals—showing that sustainable, high-quality living spaces can be both practical and transformative.

Toote/teenuse kirjeldus

This is our heart project. After one and a half years and three rounds of planning (and a big thumbs-up from the local authorities), we’re finally making it real.

GreenVillage Fiesch isn’t just a building site — it’s our vision of how living can be smarter, greener, and simply better.

  • On 5,020 m² of beautiful land, full of nature and fresh air
  • With 5 single-family houses and 12 apartments in 4 compact buildings
  • Lots of green spaces to share, meet, and relax
  • With incredible mountain views and a layout that blends right into the landscape
  • Shops, schools, and essentials? All nearby — just how it should be

What We Build: Modular Wooden Homes

Our homes are built with care — and with a smart system we call ModularGreen.

  • Solid Swiss timber, a renewable and healthy material
  • Made in modules — that means less waste and faster construction
  • Flexible designs — from a small cabin to a full family house
  • Excellent insulation and energy savings built into every wall
  • Clever shared systems (like solar and water) for more independence and less cost

Every home in GreenVillage Fiesch comes with:

  • Living space between 45 and 120 m²
  • Top energy performance (passive house standard)
  • Solar-ready roofs — plug in, power up
  • Smart home systems that save energy automatically
  • Natural ventilation — fresh air without the waste
  • Only non-toxic, healthy materials used throughout

Turg

Switzerland is a great place for SmartSmallHouse — and here’s why:

  • Very strict eco rules
Switzerland cares a lot about the environment. That means more people are looking for homes that are clean, green, and future-proof.
  • Not enough homes
In many places, it’s super hard to find a place to live — almost everything is taken, especially in cities and tourist areas.
  • Way too expensive
Homes here cost about 42% more than in the rest of Europe. So, smart and affordable homes? Big win.
  • Going green, big time
The country wants to be carbon-free by 2050. That means lots of support for projects like SmartSmallHouse that help with that.

Who’s This For?

 Eco-Conscious Professionals

  • These folks want homes that feel good and do good.
  • They don’t mind smaller spaces if the quality is high.
  • And they’re ready to pay for it.
  • There are over 120,000 households like this in Switzerland.

Mountain People & Rural Areas

  • People in places like Fiesch want homes that fit in with the landscape.
  • More tourists and second-home buyers are choosing eco options.
  • Local rules also prefer low-impact, sustainable building.

Older Folks

  • The number of people over 65 will nearly double by 2050.
  • They want easy-to-live-in homes that are warm, affordable, and close to others.
  • Community living is becoming more important for this group.

Kuidas me eristume

At SmartSmallHouse, we’re not just building houses — we’re rethinking how we live.

While others stick to old habits, we combine modern technology with ancient wisdom (like Vastu) to create homes that feel good, work smart, and tread lightly on the planet.

We’re the first company worldwide to integrate Vastu principles into standard modular homes. Vastu is an ancient architectural science from India that uses sacred geometry and clear spatial orientation to promote well-being, regeneration, and restful living. It’s about creating harmony between people and their environment — with spaces that just feel right.

We combine this wisdom with

  • electrobiology (like shielded electrical cables to reduce exposure to electromagnetic fields),
  • building biology (because healthy living isn’t just about what you eat — it’s about how you live),
  • and flooded-with-light interiors thanks to roof windows and smart design.

Together, these elements create homes that support the body, calm the mind, and uplift the spirit.

Here’s what sets us apart:

  • Built for a better way of living
We use natural, healthy materials, design for low energy use, and keep the full life cycle of the home in mind.
  • Modular means flexible
Our homes can grow with you, move with you, or be scaled for entire communities.
  • Efficient and top-quality
Smart planning and prefab construction help us cut costs without cutting corners.
  • Well-being built in
Light, air, flow, feeling — we design spaces that support your body, mind, and mood.

Rahakasutus ja ajakava

This is a timeline for a construction project, following the Swiss SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) phases, which structure the planning and execution of building projects.

Until the end of June 2025: SIA 32 - Building Project

• The detailed design and planning of the building will be finalized.

Until the end of October 2025: SIA 33 - Approval Process & Legal Building Permit

• The project will go through the necessary government approvals, ensuring that it meets all regulations. By this stage, the building permit will be legally secured.

Starting from November 2025: Selling the Units Off-Plan

• The objects (apartments and single-family-houses) will be sold based on the project plans.

• Reservations and purchase payments will be used to repay the loan.

Until the end of December 2025: SIA 41 - Tendering Process

• The bidding process begins to select contractors and suppliers for construction.

Until the end of December 2025: SIA 51 - Execution Planning

• Detailed planning of how the construction will be carried out, ensuring everything is ready to begin.

Until the end of November 2026: SIA 52 - Construction Execution

• The actual construction work will take place, with the goal of completing the project.

Lubadused investorile, kasumi jaotamine

Investors are expected to provide EUR/CHF 250,000 in external capital starting from June 2025, for a period of 18 months. This funding is required to support the development of the SmartSmallHouse – GreenVillage Fiesch project until a legally valid building permit is obtained and objects are reserved or sold.

Investors’ funds will be used to cover costs associated with:

• Architectural fees

• Electrical planning fees

• Heating, ventilation, and sanitation planning (HLS) fees, including sewage planning

• Structural engineering fees

• Timber construction engineering fees

• Building physics expert fees

• Geological surveys

• Land surveying fees

• Fire safety expert fees

• Fees for the building permit

• Electricity, water, and sewage connection fees

Investment Distribution

The funds will be allocated specifically to pre-construction costs, ensuring that the project reaches the stage of securing a legally valid building permit (SIA 33 phase). Once this milestone is achieved, the sale of units off-plan will begin (from November 2025), and the reservation and purchase payments will be used to repay the loan provided by investors.

We have a local ambassador, the ski world master Daniel Albrecht, who supports the sales. Additionally, our network is large enough that distributing the units is not a issue.

Riskid ja maandamine

The GreenVillage Fiesch project presents some risks, but SmartSmallHouse has solid measures in place to manage them effectively.

✅ Land Reservation Secured: Exclusive purchase rights guaranteed until end of 2025 with the possibility to extend if needed.

✅ Minimal Permit Risks: Pre-approved by local authorities, with little chance of objections.

✅ Fast Sales & Loan Repayment: Off-plan sales begin in November 2025, ensuring repayment to investors.

✅ High Demand Market: Eco-friendly homes in a prime location (Valais/Wallis), ideal for homeowners and investors alike.

✅ Reliable Construction Approach: Modular, Swiss-made system ensures efficient and predictable building timelines.

✅ Strong Local Partnerships: Led by Daniel Albrecht (former ski champion), ensuring trust and community support.
